The Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA) oversees the operations of Port Columbus International Airport, Rickenbacker International Airport and Bolton Field Airport, all located in Columbus, Ohio, USA. The coordinated approach to the management of the three-airport regional system enables each airport to focus on its core strengths: Port Columbus (CMH) — commercial air service; Rickenbacker (LCK) — cargo and charter flights; and Bolton Field (TZR) — corporate and general aviation. The centralized management approach also delivers high-quality, cost effective and coordinated aviation and logistics services for Central Ohio. The three airports combined contribute $2.7 billion in total annual economic impact to the Columbus region. More information about CRAA and its airports is available at www.ColumbusAirports.com.
Port Columbus International Airport (CMH)
Port Columbus has evolved into one of the premier commercial service airports in the midwestern United States. The airport is conveniently located six miles (10 km) east of downtown Columbus, Ohio with quick access to major interstates. Nearly a dozen traditional and low fare carriers provide about 160 nonstop daily flights to more than 30 destinations. This mix of airlines creates a competitive environment, keeping airfares lower which draws travelers from across Ohio and surrounding states. Carrier diversity also means Port Columbus is not dependent on the success of just one airline. State of the art airport facilities and support from numerous corporate, government and community partners round out Port Columbus' strengths.
